Matching Grants. You may qualify for a matching grant to harden your home after your wind inspection. NOTE: The My Safe Florida Home program will reach its goal of 35,000 grant applications this month and will stop accepting new grant applications May 31, 2008. If your home has undergone a wind inspection through the My Safe Florida Home program and you are potentially eligible for insurance discounts or credits, you will receive a mitigation form.
