Streamlining the Participating Contractor’s list

Effective June 12, 2007, the statute that governs our program was modified to eliminate grant funds for roof deck attachments, secondary water barrier, roof covering and roof-to-wall connections.

If your contractor file only contains the above work types, we will be removing your business listing from the Participating Contractor’s list. Our program neither recommends nor endorses any contractors. Beginning August 1, 2008, we will be streamlining the Participating Contractor’s list to contain only contractors who perform the types of work that are reimbursable through the MSFH grant program.

Garage Door Requirements

The Reimbursement Unit requires additional information for garage doors:

  • If the invoice includes a door opener, the Reimbursement Unit requires a written statement from the contractor stating that the opener was required in order to operate the door.
